
Tewantin Visitor Information Centre (VIC) at Parkyn's Hut is an accredited visitor information centre offering a one-stop shop for travel information including maps, brochures, and itineraries. Staffed by skilled and knowledgeable volunteers, Tewantin VIC can provide advice on things to see, things to do, and where to eat, as only a local would know!

Enjoy the spectacular Noosa hinterland countryside on THE NOOSA BIOSPHERE TRAILS, formerly known as The Noosa Trail Network. The Noosa Biosphere Trails are located in the Noosa hinterland and are a popular destination for horse-riders, walkers, runners and bike riders. The trails are of various lengths and pass through forests, mountains and rural landscapes offering a diversity of experiences for users. They can be completed in sections or combination.

NOOSA VILLAGES - TEWANTIN The late George Pearce, one of our founding members, and Tewantin historian, talks about Tewantin in 2011.
We now conduct our refreshed, guided, and FREE “Walk Tewantin’s Past” Heritage Walk, which is proudly presented by the Tewantin Heritage and Historical Society Inc., on a regular basis. To ensure that all our participants are able to enjoy the experience, the number of participants on each walk is strictly limited, so please make sure of your spot by booking via our online booking form. Closed Christmas Day, Good Friday, Anzac Day and for the Noosa Triathlon.
Volunteering
Parkyn's Hut is always looking for dedicated volunteers, and training is provided. Volunteers need to become members of Parkyn's Hut for which there is an annual fee of $10 for an individual, or $15 for a family.
