Tewantin Visitor Information Centre at Parkyn's Hut is an accredited visitor information centre offering a one-stop shop for travel information including maps, brochures, and itineraries. Staffed by skilled and knowledgeable locals, Parkyn's Hut Information Centre can provide advice on things to see, things to do, and where to eat.

Enjoy the spectacular Noosa hinterland countryside on THE NOOSA BIOSPHERE TRAILS, formerly known as The Noosa Trail Network. ​The Noosa Biosphere Trails are located in the Noosa hinterland and are a popular destination for horse-riders, walkers, runners and bike riders. The trails are of various lengths and pass through forests, mountains and rural landscapes offering a diversity of experiences for users. They can be completed in sections or combination.

FREE UPCOMING EVENTS AT PARKYN'S HUT

​TEWANTIN HERITAGE WALK. We re-introduced the 90-minute updated, guided and free Tewantin Heritage Walk in April 2024, proudly presented by the Tewantin Heritage and Historical Society Inc. We have already completed the first three of these walks.

​

Another Heritage Walk is planned for Saturday 17th May, 2025  at 9:30 am.

We are also celebrating the 150th anniversary of the completion of the Gympie to Tewantin Telegraph Line and Office here at Parkyn's Hut on Saturday 3rd of May, 2025 from 9 am to 12 noon. No bookings are needed: just turn up!​
